What Shelfie does
Most beauty products carry a small open jar symbol with a number on it. That is the period after opening, and it tells you how many months the product lasts once the seal is broken. Shelfie turns that number into a real date, keeps a photo of every product, and reminds you before it passes.

Mascara is scored on pigmentation and longevity. Shampoo on cleansing and scent. Perfume on sillage. Every category has its own criteria.

What is PAO?
Period after opening. Look for a small open jar symbol on the back or bottom of the packaging with a number and the letter M, such as 12M. That means the product is good for twelve months after you first open it.
Do I need an account?
No. Shelfie has no sign up and no login. Everything is stored locally on your iPhone.
Does it work offline?
Yes. The app needs no internet connection at all. Reminders are scheduled locally by iOS.
Is Shelfie a subscription?
No. Shelfie Pro is a single one time purchase. Buy it once and it stays unlocked.
What if the packaging has a printed expiry date?
You can enter an expiry date manually instead of using the PAO. The date you set always takes priority.
Is there an Android version?
Not currently. Shelfie is published for iPhone and iOS.
